Job Description The post holder is responsible for identifying and supporting repair and maintenance work as authorised by the Headteacher as well as carry out minor repairs. The post holder is responsible for requisitioning materials such as hygiene consumables, grit and salt as authorised by the Headteacher. To assist in the delivery/provision of a safe, secure and well-maintained environment within schools. To open and close school premises and associated buildings. Checking heating systems at start of day. To provide security (including key holding), property maintenance and porterage services at the school to assist in the efficient and effective running of establishment. To provide out of hours cover for lets. To provide a flexible, efficient value for money service supporting schools in the delivery of Education. To carry out Water Hygiene management including monitoring and testing.
