The Falkirk area has been transformed over the past decade and is one of the fastest growing areas in Scotland. Just a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, we’re ideally situated in the very heart of Scotland.
The new Health and Social Care legislation and emerging partnership arrangements bring new challenges and opportunities for change. Strong leadership and working closely with our communities and our partners will support this change and you can be part of it.
We are looking for an individual who can provide leadership and direction as part of the team in Adult Services, Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership to support the integration of health and social care.
You will provide leadership, vision and managerial direction in designated areas of delivery of Social Work Adult Services, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Partnership’s joint strategic plan. You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality responsive services, in a coordinated manner, reflecting social work policy priorities, practice guidance and statutory requirements.
You will have a CQSW, CSS, DipSW, OT or management qualification or equivalent with a knowledge of relevant legislation. You will have experience of working in a local authority setting, managing people and budgets, and contributing to the Service Planning and strategic direction of a Service. An effective communicator, you will be able to demonstrate experience of effective partnership working.
