GCU London is looking to appoint a full time Student Advisor (Engagement and Compliance) to work as part of a team providing support for GCU London Students and staff. GCU London is a London based school of Glasgow Caledonian University, which brings together leading academic staff to deliver a range of courses.

The Student Advisor undertakes a lead position for GCU London in ensuring the University’s policies and procedures associated with academic and financial regulations and UKVI compliance are implemented and strictly adhered to at GCU London.

They ensure the provision of an effective and professional advisory and support service to GCU London’s staff, potential and existing students; with a particular emphasis on international students.

Working as part of the University’s VISA team, to ensure that UKVI compliance is achieved in respect of Tier 4 students with specific responsibility for visa support and associated pastoral support; attendance monitoring in GCU’s policies and procedures etc. Providing support at an institutional level on UKVI compliance matters and casework as required.

The successful candidate will have relevant Student Advisor experience, ideally hold a relevant qualification and demonstrate strong service delivery experience. The ability to exercise initiative and show a high degree of responsibility is a prerequisite of the role. The Student Advisor will be an excellent communicator and be highly organised.
