Duration: Part Time (See Rota Attached), Fixed Term up to 51 Weeks (1 post Maternity Cover, 1 Post Fixed Term)
Location: Dyce Library
To work as part of a team responsible for the delivery of a high quality front-line Library & Information Service to the public at any library service point.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
4 Standard grades at level 1-3 or equivalent including English and a Mathematics subject.
PVG Membership for Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults or willingness to obtain prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
Agreement to work evenings and weekends on a shift pattern at various locations across the city.
Ability to carry out physical nature of duties; such as movement of books and other resources between and onto shelves and floor walking.
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to assist and support customers to use library services and facilities.
Ability to work accurately with detailed information .
Ability to handle cash and to conduct cash reconciliations.
