LiveArgyll are seeking an innovative and ambitious Swimming Co-ordinator to join our team, who will be responsible for the day to day swimming operations of Helensburgh Pool.
We are looking for a results driven, strategic thinker with leadership qualities to help us grow and maintain the largest learn to swim programme throughout Argyll & Bute.
The post holder's responsibilities will include:
Managing, developing and monitoring the implementation and administration of the Learn to Swim programme. Co-ordinating the efficient and effective deployment of the team, to meet the customer and business needs of LiveArgyll. Mentoring and developing all swimming teacher/coaches through staff training and induction sessions. Monitor and maintain relevant health and safety, employment and safeguarding legislation. Help to develop and implement ideas and improvements to our ways of working in both increasing revenue and customer retention.
It is essential that the successful candidate holds a UKCC Level 2 Swimming Teachers Certificate or equivalent.
It would be desirable for the post holder to have the following:
NPLQ Lifeguard certificate
Scottish Swimming Membership/ Teacher Licence
HNC in a sports related qualificationResponsibilities
