As a business, we hold our projects to the highest standards of quality and governance and to do that we would like to bring on board a Leader who can oversee the quality and governance of the business analysis for a global digital project we are about to embark on.

Capita Records Management System is Capita's next generation, fully integrated, policing solution. We are constantly innovating and are currently developing an exciting, new, best of breed system that will revolutionise policing systems in the UK and beyond.

As our Lead Business Analyst, you will operate at a strategic level and shape, define and monitor the best practise and standards to which our Business Analysts work. We are looking for somebody like us - passionate about driving the best quality outcomes, passionate about delighting our customers and passionate about producing world class products.

We're an international business and so the role will involve the need for international travel with stays away from home. The project is scheduled to run for 18 months and so the role is offered initially on an 18-month fixed term basis.

What we are looking for

We truly believe in the importance of governance as an organisation so that our Practitioners can prosper and we can foster an environment which fosters creativity and delivers exceptional results so we are looking for somebody who can considered a leader in governance and best practise in a business analysis/ project driven environment.

As we are working in a policing systems environment it would of course be highly desirable if you have had some exposure in your career to policing systems.

Others skills and experiences we are looking for include;

  • Experience of understanding complex business processes and of instigating business process improvement;

  • Ability to quickly assimilate business knowledge in the form of user requirement specifications;

  • Excellent analytical skills; the ability to view a problem from different angles, to formulate recommendations and to support any chosen solution with a reasoned and persuasive arguments;

  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills; the ability to facilitate meetings and provide demonstrations, explain complex business problems to a wide audience and demonstrable experience of writing functional specifications
