We are currently looking to employ a Skipper for our new vessel, David Andrews. The vessel is a tug recently bought into the fleet for the purpose of towing a Hydrolicer raft around the Company’s farms. When the vessel is not engaged in raft towing or hydrolicing then she will be utilised as a support vessel throughout the Company’s sites on the West Coast of Scotland.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with Farm Managers to provide an operational plan and must therefore possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to problem solve. In addition, the successful applicant will be required to ensure that their vessel is cleaned and maintained to a high standard and that up to date bio-security records are priority.
Applicants must hold a valid certificate of competence and be able to operate a vessel up to 24 metres. A driving licence is desirable.
