The Lime Tree is a multi award winning restaurant whose food service philosophy is that exciting creative dishes should be prepared from raw, local, seasonal ingredients made into something special by skilled Chefs. We do not buy in prepared foodstuffs, all our dishes are made here by our team of four led by Andrew Cook. Therefore to work in our kitchen you need to be the sort of ambitious Chef that has cooking skills, knowledge, enthusiasm, creativity and excited about cooking. If you have those rare qualities then the Lime Tree is a great place to work, develop your skills and reputation as a Chef.
Experience. We will consider new Chefs who share our ambition for food service. The main scope during a service will be plating up of Amuse Bouche, Starter dishes and Dessert dishes. You will be supervised intially to ensure quality standards are reached. Your efforts in this area will allow the Head and Sous Chefs to concentrate on main courses therefore you need to be the kind of person who is strong confident creative and capable of producing their own dishes
