Russell Building Products Limited is a leading UK roof tile manufacturer with over 180 staff operating at 3 sites within the UK.
We are looking for suitable people to join our Maintenance team in Lochmaben. These roles are fast paced and demanding and as such you would eventually work to a 12 hour shift pattern that includes weekends.
This role will include but is not limited to;
Meet all H&S applicable requirements
Maximise and sustain plant production levels
Detailed root cause analysis to ensure Plant reliability
Timely reactive maintenance response as and when required
Ensure efficient operation of plant and minimise down time
Assist operators and other maintenance team members with troubleshooting / setup
Provide operator and maintenance training to maximise multi skilling
Assist quality control of product via equipment set up
Reduction in Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
Improvement in Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
Implementation of Preventative maintenance routines as directed (PMR) (reduction in Reactive work)
Consistent delivery of production targets
Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to be flexible and to take on and learn new tasks.
Confident, assertive and polite individual capable of building good working relationships with all staff.
Attention to detail.
Must be able to use initiative and work with and without work instruction.
Ability with Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and PLC’s all considered.
Training and support will be given to all new employees. Semi-skilled and Trainees will be offered paid formal off-site training after a suitable qualifying period to fully develop their skills. Trainee role could be suitable to upcoming school leavers who would like a hands-on career in Engineering.
