We are looking for individuals with initiative and enthusiasm to join our dedicated team here at Woodlands. You should be motivated, creative, and enthusiastic and have a positive and flexible outlook to your work.

We provide support to adults with learning disabilities from the age of 18. Applicants must share our values, be able to work well in a team and on their own.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive team working towards individuals person centred plan, to enable them to be more involved in the local community and to meet their goals and aspirations in life. 

Woodlands is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities in the local community. 

We believe in developing all our staff and provide an extensive training programme of which the candidate will be supported by regular team meetings and supervision. 

The successful applicant will have Keyworking responsibilities and should have a knowledge of computers.

Woodlands is registered with the Care Inspectorate as Support Services. We work within the National Care Standards frame work and work towards implementing the outcomes recommended in the Keys to Life (2010) Strategy.

 

Applicants should note that:- This post is not suitable for job share. The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary, the actual salary will be paid pro rata for the hours worked. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013, as amended, applies to this post. This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with adults.
