Scottish Sea Farms IT team are responsible for delivering IT services, infrastructure, and networks across the business. We are now recruiting for a Senior IT Support Analyst within our Support Team based in our South Shian facility near Oban, Argyll. This role will primarily be responsible for delivering first class support to all employees across all our sites.

This is an exciting time in SSF IT as we transform our existing systems, networks, and cloud computing to support the needs of our business going forward and this will expose you to new technologies.

The successful candidate must have experience in:
·         Windows OS (Including Windows Server)
·         Office 365
·         SharePoint
·         General PC and Server Administration
·         Strong IT problem solving
·         Active Directory
·         Virtualisation – VMWare
·         Backup Systems – Veeam
·         General networking skills
·         Software and Hardware Asset Management
·         Print Infrastructure management
·         IT Service Management Applications Helpdesk, Asset Management, Change Management, etc

Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in a non-technical fashion to employees at all levels of the business.

This role is within our Support team and will also be responsible for day-to-day management of a front-line Support Analyst/Trainer.  In addition, due to the nature of our business, and after a period of induction, there will be a requirement to take part in the on-call service for which additional payments are made.

The role is based in South Shian near Oban, although you will be required to travel throughout the SSF estate from time to time on the Mainland, Scotland and Orkney.
