We want to do more and have hugely ambitious plans to regenerate our communities, build new homes, develop Smarter Homes, create employment, attract investment to North Lanarkshire, prevent homelessness and sustain tenancies.

As part of this ambition we are building a “Workforce for the Future”, developing a Leadership and Learning Academy and working in partnership with Skills Development Scotland and the Secondary Education Sector to improve employability and skills across our local economy.

This is an exciting time to join our in-house Talent and Organisational Development team which provides a high level of professional competence to support over 12,000 employees.

Based in the Edward Lawson Centre, Wishaw, you will have an important role to play in assisting the Learning and Organisational Development Advisor to provide an efficient and effective learning and development curriculum across the organisation including legislative, mandatory, behavioural and technical skills.

You must be a self-motivated and enthusiastic learning and development practitioner with extended experience of working within a learning and development environment. With excellent presentation and facilitation skills you will be able to communicate with various size of groups and deliver engaging and exciting learning and development initiatives. Experience of e-learning design and development is desirable.

An HNC, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential.
