“Staff have a warm and friendly approach with the young people and there are plenty of organised activities for the young people to take part in” Social Worker
We are looking for individuals who will be playful, warm, accepting, curious and empathetic in their
dealings with children, and to bring these qualities to help us achieve our vision, which is to:
- Provide the best option in Scotland for children who require to live in residential care.
- Provide the best life-long learning services in Scotland which support children to lead happy and successful lives.
- Be the best place in Scotland for staff to work and to support staff to achieve their individual and collective potential.
We are looking to recruit to a Permanent Residential Worker, 25 hours per week (required to cover up to 100% of contracted hours as night shift worker).
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, energetic and committed individuals who share our ambition that residential child care should be the first best option for children who need to be looked after away from home. Successful candidates must be comfortable in a culture based on respect, integrity, innovation and the ability to challenge. We support our workers to be as effective as they can be, so we require individuals who will be exceptional role models for the children and staff, helping them to manage the challenges that the work and living environment present.
