Requirements

As part of the Management structure we are looking to recruit a Senior Development Worker to assist the Unit Manager to lead a team of Staff in developing the Service in the Kintyre area for Adults with a Learning Disability.

You should be a motivated, creative and enthusiastic and have a positive outlook to your work.

The successful candidate should have previous senior experience or team management experience.

We believe in developing all our Staff and provide an extensive training programme of which the candidate will be supported by regular team meetings and supervision.

You will be directing and supporting a friendly supportive staff team working towards individual’s person centred plans, to enable them to be more involved in their local community and to meet their goals and aspirations in life.

We currently support individuals to access a variety of outcome focussed activities and life skills. Woodlands is a vibrant provider dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities in the local community.

 

Responsibilities This post not suitable for job share. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013, as amended, applies to this post. This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with adults.
