Due to the current incumbent leaving the Company, we are currently looking to employ a Deckhand onboard the Ailsa Craig workboat. The vessel will provide a valuable service to the Company’s sites assisting with sea lice treatments, net changing and other general farm duties across our seawater sites in Scotland.
Applicants are required to hold relevant certificates and a valid medical, and experience in this type of work is preferable although not essential as further training will be provided. The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team servicing all seawater sites and play a vital role in terms of supporting the sites and further enhancing biological performance, ensuring that the vessel is cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The successful applicant must be willing to work flexibly to meet the demands of the job. The shift pattern for this post is two weeks on / two weeks off. Driving licence is essential.
