We are looking to recruit a Trainer and Primary Assessor to work across West Highland College UHI.
The post holders will be responsible for the achievement of the relevant award with candidates, retention and outcome targets, ensuring an excellent candidate experience and compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting programme evaluation, enhancement and continuing personal development. The majority of the work can be achieved virtually with candidates.
The suitable candidates will hold a valid workplace assessor/verifier qualification in any subject areas (at minimum SVQ Level 4 SCQF Level 8) for example
· Business Administration
· Hospitality/Food & Drink Service/Professional Cookery
· Social Services Children & Young People
· Information Technology
· Transport Logistics
· Computing/Digital Media
Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential in this role, as well as the ability to problem solve and relate to students of all ages. Candidates must also hold a current, valid driving licence, and have access to a vehicle.
Location: Any of our 10 Centres
Salary: Between £24,575 - £25,288 pro rata (dependant on qualifications and experience)
Working Hours: Varied hours on a casual basis
