Social Work Resources

Residential Worker (nights) £11.06 - £13.19 per hour - to be worked in accordance with a roster including weekends

This post is peripatetic and as such you may be placed at various locations across South Lanarkshire

The teams are well structured and there is a very low turnover of staff and a low sickness absence rate, which reflects the very good levels of support, supervision and professional development. You will be joining a responsive, progressive and innovative social work resource where children’s needs are central to policy, practice and partnership working.

Candidates must hold a HNC or above.

One of these posts is a temporary position. Internal candidates are advised prior to making your application, please discuss your potential application with your current Line Manager. In the event that you are being considered for this post, your release to undertake this internal fixed term opportunity would need to be agreed in advance and managed by the service/s or resource/s.

Employment History/Foreign Police Check

Candidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment and provide a foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad.

For candidates who are successful at the shortleeting stage, please note you will be required to attend an assessment centre . Following the assessment centre, interviews will then take place. Dates to be agreed.
