Quarriers Enhanced Clinical Care (ECC) Service works in partnership with the NHS. This service provides care to children and young people in the NHS Highland area. Successful applicants will be trained by the NHS to provide bespoke care to children in their own home.

Quarriers ECC Service have two vacancies for Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Support Worker) both on a 20 hour per week contract.  Contract one working an 8am to 1pm shift 4 days per week and contract two working 10pm to 8am 2 days per week, with some weekend working. 

This is a challenging, but rewarding post, working as part of a close team who provide either overnight or day support to a pre school child. Working on your own within the family home, you will work an agreed shift pattern with some flexability to cover for other team members as required.

This level of care ranges from breathing support, suctioning, gastrostomy feeding etc. Successful candidates undertake a fantastic training programme in partnership with the NHS in order to care for individual's specific needs. This is a unique opportunity to undertake both NHS and Quarriers training. In return for your willingness to learn and grow, we will train and support you to provide a professional service to a high standard.

Ideal candidates will ideally have work experience of caring for an individual. Candidates should have a positive attitude towards all children and young people and have a genuine empathy for parents who need support to care for their child at home.

Please note IT skills are required for all Quarriers vacancies.
