Argyll and Bute Council are looking to recruit a permanent full-time Social Worker/Mental Health Officer to join our friendly and supportive integrated community mental health team based in Campbeltown on the stunning Kintyre peninsula.
The post holder will be required to provide a specialist mental health social work service to clients with mental illness, working closely alongside colleagues from health and other agencies.
The post holder will be required to undertake statutory MHO duties under mental health, incapacity and criminal justice legislation and care management for people with mental ill-health.Applicants should note that:- This post is suitable for job share. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2003, as amended, applies to this post. This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) registration in relation to working with children and adults.
