As an apprentice at Scottish Water you’ll be joining one of Scotland’s most critical businesses and be part of the team whodeliver essential water and waste water services to the people of Scotland. What will you be doing?
During this 4 year programme, you’ll be learning everything you need to know about how we treat water to ensure that we provide our customers with high quality and safe drinking water, protecting public health and the environment in the process. That means most of your days will be spent outdoors, on our operational sites – working as part of an expert and experienced team who will support you to develop your skills and knowledge and achieve a nationally recognised qualification. This is your chance to learn as you earn, working with industry-leading teams to help deliver services that are essential to the daily lives of the people of Scotland.

 Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for people who are self-motivated, team players who enjoy being outdoors. You should be practical, well organised and a good problem solver with a positive attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative. You’ll have five National 4 or 5 Qualifications (English, Maths and Science are advantageous but not essential) and a full UK driving licence asyou’ll typically be working across a number of our sites.
