East Lothian is a vibrant and forward thinking organisation that encourages and promotes learning to support staff development. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapy professional to work in a part time Management post within a Community Occupational Therapy Team. Working closely with the wider Management team to ensure effective service delivery and contribute to the service development in the Occupational therapy team and across the Integrated Partnership to deliver Occupational Therapy Assessment and Rehabilitation services.

To assist in the management of the Community Care service providing a responsive and needs led social work service throughout East Lothian in accordance with relevant legislation, national standards, Council policies and plans with a commitment to achieve best value.

You must ensure you meet every 'essential' criteria stated on the Person Specification to reach the interview stage. In cases where the majority of applicants meet all the essential criteria, the desirable criteria will be used to form a final short-leet.
Degree in Social Work (or other recognised Social Work Qualification, ie. CQSW, Dip SW, CCETSW) or equivalent level of qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Evidence of a commitment to Continual Professional Development.
PVG Membership (Children and Adults) is an essential requirement of this post.
A full current driving licence is an essential requirement for this post.
