The post-holder will be lead officer for business support functions within the Broxburn area schools to establishment, maintain and development management information systems to support financial, staffing, health & safety and resource management. The post-holder will be based in Broxburn Academy but will provide support other schools in the geographic area.
The post-holder must be able to demonstrate previous experience operating at a senior level with an involvement in either financial management, human resources or an education setting. It would be essential for the post-holder to have experience of budget management/monitoring, and of line managing a team.
The post-holder must be educated to degree level or provide equivalent qualifications or experience. A postgraduate or profession qualification in finance or human resources would be highly desirable along with experience of working within education.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
