This includes Education, Social Work and Health The Early Intervention worker will help the family lead their own assessment, focusing on existing strengths and building resilience. The family along with the worker will identify the areas for support and agree outcomes, which work towards resolving problems within an agreed period.
Key to early interventions being successful is the development of good relationships with families and the ability to provide a holistic and person centred approach which maintains, develops and nurtures the family dynamic. Direct work with the families will be evidence based and a range of approaches will be available to suit the individual needs of the family.
