Lochaber Women's Aid are recruiting a Project Co-ordinator who will develop, co-ordinate and implement the roll out of the Ask Me Scheme in Lochaber. This will involve monitoring and evaluating the project against agreed outcomes and funding; working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and community groups across the whole area; provide in-depth training to professionals working in places participating in the ask me scheme.

This role will be hosted by Lochaber Women’s Aid but there will be flexibility for the successful candidate to work from home.  

There may be weekend, evening work and national travel. Overnight stays may be necessary.

The post is open to a secondment opportunity. Candidates wishing to apply for this role as a possible secondment opportunity should ensure they have approval to be released from their substantive post.

A PVG check will be required

We are looking for someone who has good knowledge in relation to domestic abuse, an understanding of the needs of women and the challenges they face in accessing support services. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the needs of Lochaber’s diverse community and be skilled to successfully engage with these groups. They will also have experience of facilitating and delivering workshops and presentations.
