It is East Lothian Council's policy that successful applicants will be placed on the first point of the salary scale.

Rate of pay: £8.51-£8.62 per hour
2 Permanent part time position based at Grange Road, & Lochbridge Road North Berwick.

Post 1
8 hours 20 minutes per week, term time based at Grange Road.
Monday - Thursday 0815-0850 & 1445-1550
Friday 0815-0850 & 1155-1300
To start ASAP

Post 2
8 hours 20 minutes per week, term time based at Lochbridge Road.
Monday - Thursday 0815-0850 & 1445-1550
Friday 0815-0850 & 1155-1300
To start January 2019

Job Details

To assist in the delivery of the School Crossing Service throughout East Lothian in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and Council policies and procedures.

Relevant Qualifications
Be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills and competencies associated with the duties of the
post.

PVG Membership
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

All preferred candidates for posts carrying out regulated work with these groups will be required to become a PVG Scheme member, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if they are already a member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made by East Lothian Council.
