Location : Rosemount Community Centre
Duration : 16 hours per week , Permanent

Job Profile

To implement a range of initiatives, projects and activities to meet the priorities of the Creative Learning Team.

We are seeking a part time Creative Project Practitioner to deliver and implement creative projects that contribute to local priorities based on identified need. You will work in partnership with others using arts, culture and creativity across Creative Learning’s three areas of work; Supporting Education, Supporting Communities and Supporting Creative Practitioners.

You should have experience of planning and delivering arts-based projects/activities which make a significant contribution to the learning and development of individuals and groups as well as knowledge and experience of artform/s within a professional context.

 

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Degree or equivalent in an art form, cultural or arts management. In this instance, equivalent would be the demonstration of progression and success in delivery in these fields


PVG registration



The post holder must be prepared to:

Work flexibly as required to achieve and/ or support service delivery as the job includes some evening and weekend work


Travel, as appropriate, on Council Business

Responsibilities

The post holder will be expected to:

Deliver and implement identified arts activity for the Creative Learning Team

Contribute to planning a range of projects and activities to meet identified priorities of the Creative Learning Team

Support project personnel as appropriate including arts tutors and freelance arts practitioners

Ensure activities are delivered within available resources

Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of projects

Collaborate with other members of the Creative Learning Team where there are synergies between remits and projects

Contribute to the review and planning of Creative Learning Team work

The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

Ability to organise and prioritise workload in order to achieve deadlines.

Ability to reflectively analyse situations and challenges and come up with creative solutions.

E- Literacy and competence in using ICT to organise manipulate and disseminate information.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
