Youth & Family Learning Worker

17.5 hours per week
Permanent
£23,995 - £26,283 pro rata (including Distant Islands Allowance and Shift Allowance)

A motivated and experienced youth worker is sought to provide support for youth workers, youth clubs and youth projects in the Kirkwall and East Mainland area.

The post will be based at the Council Offices, Kirkwall and will involve travel to support clubs and projects in other centres. Regular weekend and evening working, and access to your own transport are required for this post.

Successful experience of working with young people in informal settings and a good understanding of youth work approaches are required for this post.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
