Applicants should be committed individuals with the ability to provide an inclusive, inspiring and safe living environment. The successful candidate will work with up to 6 young people up to the age of 21, experiencing a variety of complex needs. Candidates must have the experience or transferable skills for this role as well as an understanding of working with children with varied emotional needs. Ideally candidates would have experience of Residential Care and/or Social Work although if you do not necessarily have the experience for the role, however, have the passion for working with our young people and feel you have transferable skills and qualities to do so.

Relevant qualifications are not essential to start, however there is a requirement set by the SSSC to gain the relevant qualification/s within 5 years.

Applicants should note that:- This post is suitable for job share. This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with both adults and children. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013, as amended, applies to this post. This post requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
