Job Summary
Position Summary:

This role is a member of the Hilton Accounting and Finance Services Transitions, Automation and Governance Team (HAFS TAG Team), within the Centralized Accounting function. The Senior Manager, HAFS Transitions will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple projects related to ongoing efforts to centralize and enhance Finance and Accounting business processes.

What will I be doing?

• Create and maintain project plans while managing key project milestones, deliverables, and financials, including: budget, forecast and actual capital and operating expenses.
• Define and coordinate the securing of commitments from cross-functional groups and external providers in terms of resources, cost, schedule, and performance. 
• Establish close communication links with the various stakeholders and groups – Finance, Accounting, IT, HR, Legal, Hotel teams, vendors and suppliers.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize projects by explaining resource requirements, constraints, etc.
• Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the project is on target and take necessary actions including documenting and escalating risks and issues while partnering with the business to define solutions and corrective actions.
• Create and deliver regular status updates to project stakeholders.
• Support the negotiation of contractor, vendor and partner relationships as needed to ensure the success of key projects.
• Oversee governance of assigned project artifacts, leverage SharePoint document libraries, Nintex workflows, and other tools as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement of business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance organization.
• Determine staffing needs and oversee the recruiting, selecting, hiring, training and developing of department Team Members or contract Project Managers as required.

Required Qualifications:

• To hold a BS/BA/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Significant years of progressive overall experience with some years of project management and change management experience in leadership roles 
• Some Managerial Experience
• Up to 50% domestic and int'l travel, including extended overseas trips of multiple weeks duration


Preferred Qualifications:

• MS/MA/Master's Degree/CPA or equivalent
• Extensive years of progressive overall experience
• Significant years of Management Experience 
• Project management certification or similar (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Six Sigma)
• Functional knowledge of the Hilton Accounting and Finance Services organization, financial systems and processes, accounting standards and controls (e.g. GAAP, SOX, Standard Operating Procedures)
• Up to 50% domestic and int'l travel, including extended overseas trips of multiple weeks duration
