Senior Pensions Administrator - Third Party Administration (TPA) - Glasgow

We are recruiting for an experienced pensions administrator to join the admin team in our Glasgow city centre office. You'll play a pivotal role on one of our largest and most high profile schemes with thousands of members. It's a great opportunity to take on bigger responsibilities, build on your existing experience, develop new skills and help evolve our processes, procedures and service offerings.
As well as the vital day to day pensions administration on the scheme you'll get to work on projects and ad hoc work which will challenge you in new ways. You'll also have the chance to coach and mentor less experienced members of the team to help them develop and progress their careers as well as yours.
Some of your main responsibilities will be to:
provide a seamless, professional and personal service to meet the needs of our clients and members to give them the best possible experience
act as a main contact for our client building strong client and member relationships
deal with complex pensions related queries and requests which span the full pensions lifecycle, including installing new pensions schemes
actively identifies ways to improve our client and member service and help to implement these
draft admin reports, attend Trustee meetings and assist with presenting findings in admin reports at meetings
check team members' work
work with the Team Leader to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, like automation and full use of standard products
assist with workflow management, deputise for the Team Leader if necessary
oversee cyclical and ad hoc projects from start to completion
develop and coach less experienced members of the team to help them succeed.

That's great. If you'd like to be considered for this opportunity then you should already have proven solid experience of day-to-day pension administration and working on DB, DC, Hybrid and CARE pension arrangements, gained in a client focussed Third Party Administration environment.
You'll need up to have strong knowledge of the impact of relevant pensions legislation and regulations on pensions administration. This role will make good use of your professional communication and relationship building skills as you'll be dealing with a range of people, including colleagues, clients and members. You'll enjoy working as part of a team but also take responsibility for planning and organising your own time in order to prioritise your work and meet deadlines successfully.
