SAMS is seeking someone who can fill a dual role position. A person who can undertake the role of Postgraduate Academic Registry Officer for students based at SAMS whilst navigating the maze of higher education and who will also provide administrative support to SAMS’ Directorate. You must be discrete and confidential, able to plan ahead but also deal with competing priorities on a day to day basis and be able to work on your own initiative.
Key aspects of the role include the administration of student information systems, dealing with student-related issues, organisation of postgraduate recruitment, working closely with systems, processes and colleagues at UHI and other education delivery partners as required.
The role can involve dealing with individuals facing uncertainty and stress, so experience of this type of interaction in a health or social wellbeing environment is desirable.
