Support Worker Level 1

Highland Throughcare and Aftercare

Salary: £11,622 - £12,894 per annum with an additional £9,214 per annum for sleepovers

Working Hours: 23.5 hours per week plus 2.33 sleepovers

Closing Date: 5pm on Monday 3 December 2018

Ypeople has over 200 staff and volunteers, and supports hundreds of people every day in our homelessness, young people’s wellbeing and out of school care services.

We are recruiting fora Support Worker Level 1 to work within our Highland Throughcare and Aftercare service in Inverness.

How you will make a difference:

- Arranging and facilitating key work meeting to develop and review support plans

- Developing life skills with service users

- Planning, implementing and developing workshops or programme activities with service

users

What you will bring:

- Personal values aligned with Ypeople’s core values

- SVQ level 3 in Social Care or equivalent (or willing to work towards)

- Understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to housing and social care

- Awareness of issues surrounding homelessness and issues affecting young people
