An opportunity has arisen to join the Team in Greenwood.

 

The successful applicant will require to support Adults with a Learning Disability living in their own Tenancies in Greenwood or within the Local Community.

 

The Service is Registered with the Care Inspectorate as Housing Support and Care at Home.

 

The post holder will promote a positive approach to Service Delivery which is life enhancing. They will advocate on behalf of the Tenants when necessary. You will be expected to support Tenants in all aspects of their lives.

 

The post holder will be expected to liaise with Family, Carer’s and other Agencies.

The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary, the actual salary will be paid pro rata for the hours worked. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013, as amended, applies to this post.

This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with adults.

This is a temporary post which may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee’s line manager.
