Clerk of Works (PKC05064)
£21,292 - £23,996 (28.8 Hours/week)
Pullar House, 35 Kinnoull Street, Perth PH1 5GD

Perth & Kinross Council's Housing Repairs & Improvements Service are recruiting a Clerk of Works. The post (which is based at Pullar House in Perth) will form an integral part of the Housing Improvements Team. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a range of Clerk of Works duties involving the supervision and inspection of construction, refurbishment and conversion projects to improve the quality and quantity of the Council's housing stock.
It is envisaged that the post will focus on the completion of new housing developments and the delivery of programmes to refurbish and improve the energy efficiency of existing stock.

The successful applicant will:-
Have experience of working on building and refurbishment projects in a housing, construction or property maintenance environment with a track record of successful project delivery.
Have experience of site supervision / quality management with an excellent knowledge of building construction, technology and services.
Be familiar with quality management processes and have experience of working with contract documentation such as drawings, programmes and specifications.
Be an excellent communicator and have experience of working with microsoft IT packages.
Hold a full UK Driving Licence
