Administrative Assistant

35 hours per week
£18,536 to £19,552 (Including Distant Islands Allowance)

We are looking for a responsible, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to undertake the post of Admin Assistant which is based at School Place. The post will offer applicants a variety of challenges in a busy office environment.

This is a varied role to provide administrative support and processing financial information. The post involves dealing with enquiries, minuting meetings, processing invoices and a broad range of administrative and support tasks.

You should hold a SVQ 2 or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject or where the essential qualification is not held a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an administrative role is required. You will also be required to achieve a Professional Development Award in Housing Law for Advisors at Level 6 at the next available intake following take up of the post.

You should have experience of secretarial/administrative work, be computer literate, have excellent communication skills and be able to produce high quality work to tight deadlines. You should be able to work alone and also as part of a team and uphold the highest levels of confidentiality.
