Job Description

WEST REGION RELIEF WORKFORCE PLANNING TEAM
PAISLEY/MOTHERWELL

1 x Full Time 37.5 hours per week - Relief Resource Planner (Seconded)
1 x Part Time 18.75 hours per week - Resource Planner (Seconded)

The West Region Workforce Planning Department are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable individual to undertake the resource planning role across the Department.

The successful applicant will be relief based within the resource planning team at Paisley/Motherwell and will be responsible for providing, through careful and efficient planning and organisation, a comprehensive level of administrative support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources as well as covering holidays, sickness within the department.

The role will include providing all operational personnel with shifts, utilising relief staff to their full potential, liaising with Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that leave is rostered correctly and providing timely, accurate information regarding resource planning and utilisation to managers and relevant Departments within the Service.

The successful applicant is likely to have demonstrable previous experience in an administrative or clerical position, preferably within scheduling or resource planning. Also required are confidence and competence in the use of IT, the ability to work on initiative and demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, along with accuracy and attention to detail. The post holder will require to be flexible working across the Regional planning function which may require travel to Paisley and Motherwell sites.
