Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Resuscitation and Clinical Risk Band 7 - £32,974 to £43,471 per annum Plus £1,015 Distant Island Allowance per annum 37.5 Hours per Week Permanent Contract NHS Western Isles is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified registered nurses for the post of Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Resuscitation and Clinical Risk. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who will be responsible for the planning and delivery of this education throughout the Islands and supporting clinical teams in advanced nursing practice providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills in remote and rural health care. The post holder will have several years' post-registration experience in an Acute/Critical Care environment, evidence of Masters Level study and Advanced Life Support Instructor/Instructor Potential/Candidate. The post holder will have excellent knowledge of basic and advanced life support and hold all necessary Resuscitation Council certificates. The post holder will have excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills and be experienced in teaching all levels of staff. The post holder will also have a keen interest in Quality Improvement. The post holder will be based at the Western Isles Hospital but will support staff in all our healthcare locations throughout NHS Western Isles. The ability to travel throughout the islands and to the mainland for meetings is essential. It is essential to have a driving licence for this post. This post is eligible for relocation expenses.
