About the role

Our Mail Centres are the hub of our network, receiving sent mail from pillar boxes and businesses for sorting and distribution. As a shift manager you will be reporting to the Plant Manager and be responsible for all operations across your shift, leading a team of 6 line managers and approx. 150 front line staff.

 

You’ll help drive performance at your site by:

 

•Leading the managerial and front line team to achieve financial, customer, people and performance scorecard targets for the shift •Ensuring Health & Safety compliance for the shift; and creating a working environment where front line managers take responsibility for safety and wellbeing •Ensuring robust workplan for the shift is in place •Undertaking trend analysis to identify improvement opportunities in specific work areas and teams •Proactive management of key interfaces with other Shift Managers, Collections, Delivery, Distribution managers and regional stakeholders •Supporting line managers with mentoring and one-to-one coaching

Shift Pattern;

 

Mon: 11:30 – 21:00

Fri: 11:30 – 22:30

Sat: 09:00 – 19:30

Sun: 07:00 – 17:00
