Do you love a challenge? Do you want to work in a busy office environment in a varied role?
We have a vacancy for a Senior Financial Assessment Assistant, within the Assessment & Charging Team. This team works with some of our most vulnerable citizens; helping them to maximise their income, ensuring they are being charged correctly for any social care and support they are receiving and supporting them and their families through the complexities of paying for their care.
This role will support Financial Assessment Officers by undertaking telephone financial assessments, booking appointments, preparing pre-visit information packs, collating and recording information that is collected by your colleagues on visits and communicating with clients via phone, email and letter.
It would be helpful if you’ve got experience in finance, using financial systems and providing excellent customer service.
You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, be organised and have a person centred approach. With a flexible attitude, you should take a pride in your work, and have a desire to get things done right first time.
Further information on what we do can be found at www.pkc.gov.uk/carecharges or by calling to have a chat with either Fiona or Pam on 01738 476991.
