Modern Apprenticeships Jobs

We have all got to start somewhere and we all need to learn and a nation always needs a skilled workforce.

It always has: documents for apprenticeships go back to Medieval times. It always will: today you can sign up for a modern apprenticeship whether straight from school or a graduate entry level, which provides work-based learning opportunities up to Master’s degree level.

It’s just that today, as compared to centuries ago, we do not expect our apprentices to riot.

Gone are the days of living over your master’s workplace, and him providing food and clothing but some principles remain the same: you work alongside experienced staff, gain job-specific skills have time off for study and importantly get paid for doing it all.

Today an apprenticeships takes one to five years to complete, depending on the level.

The Modern Apprenticeships scheme helps employers to develop their workforce by training new staff, and increasing the skills of existing employees. In return you gain an industry-recognised qualification.
